This was part of a National Design Competition, administered under the auspices of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects for Mary MacKillop Visitors Centre and Shrine. Our design entry was based on a rationale for keeping a new Visitor’s Centre and shrine in character with its heritage surroundings at Penola in South Australia. The landscape design recreates a mid-19th century formal garden.
